Tryouts for the boys varsity basketball team are completed and the teams are preparing for a successful season. They have been working hard in order to prepare for their first scrimmage which is tonight against Faith Christian High School. It will be held at GCA and it begins at 6:00. Instead of the usual entrance prices, fans will either donate 2 canned goods for a local food pantry or they can pay $2. The team is hoping to have a lot of fans there to support them and help cheer them to victory. Coach Satre said, “I am excited about the level of intensity they have been able to maintain during all of our practices.” Satre is looking forward to another successful season.
