Dressed in their class colors, their voices raised in worship, students filled the auditorium inside Greenwood Christian Academy for the bi-annual Spiritual Emphasis Day. High school Spiritual Emphasis Day (SED) kicked-off Wednesday for a full-day of fellowship, worship and chapel speaking. Senior Abby Miller beamed, "I really liked the worship. You could feel God's presence." For sophomore Caity Krauss, the day was not only deeply meaningful, but fun: "I thought the speakers' messages dovetailed perfectly. And the games were exceptional; they brought the classes together."
The next day, middle school Spiritual Emphasis Day saw students dressed in their class colors with a superhero twist. A half-day of team building games, worship and powerful preaching brought students together with a new purpose and passion to honor God and grow in Him.
