our admissions process
Please apply online at www.gcak12.org/apply. Applications for the 2025/26 school year were accepted beginning on February 4th, 2025. Please note that applications will not be available for grades with no capacity for new students.
The Admissions Office will request academic and behavior records from the applicant’s current/previous school(s). Applicants for Kindergarten-8th grade will be contacted to schedule an Admissions Assessment. These assessments will be held at the South Campus.
After review of complete application files (including student records and assessment results), families will receive an admissions update. These updates may include moving forward in the admissions process to the family interview, being notified that your applicant is being placed on the waitlist, or being notified that your applicant will not be moving forward in the admissions process.
Applicants and parents or guardians who complete a family interview with one of our principals will be notified of the admissions decision via email. Upon receipt of an acceptance offer, please complete the online enrollment packet within 48 hours to secure your student’s spot.
Welcome to the GCA Family! Look for more information about the 2025/26 school year over the summer.
Please note: Our Admissions Committee prayerfully considers each candidate and evaluates many factors. Applicants who are not accepted will not receive details on why they were not offered admittance. Reasons for denial may include insufficient academic qualifications, conflicting spiritual priorities, past behavioral issues or may simply result from a limited availability of seats. We understand that it can be difficult not to receive a clear reason for an admissions denial, but pledge that we do not take our decisions lightly.
