Band Semester 1, 2 Elective Course: Semester 1, 2 (may be repeated)

Band students will learn and develop the technical skills necessary to play a musical instrument as a soloist and as a member of an ensemble and will learn to interpret music independently. Band students will learn and develop the organizational skills that will contribute to their success in band, their other classes and the workplace. Band students will learn and develop the skills to be an effective leader and the character to be a productive member of the organization and of society. Students will perform in two concerts: The Christmas Program and the Spring Program.
